Wearing a suit belonging to the journalist José Rubén Zamora, Regina José Galindo presented a performance during the first public day of the 24 Bienal de Arte Paiz, titled YO ME SIENTO LIBRE / JOSÉ RUBÉN ZAMORA (I FEEL FREE / JOSÉ RUBÉN ZAMORA). The action took place in front of the Palace of Justice, where the artist lent her voice to deliver a speech written by Rubén Zamora from prison. In it, he denounces the several injustices experienced since his capture, as well as the violence and persecution that he and his family have endured for more than 30 years, in his battle against corruption and in defense of journalism and freedom of speech.
