Melvin Laz has a studio of decorative and architectural elements in concrete, but his work has gradually moved away from classical fountains and colonial motifs to explore elements of pop culture and personal fantasy. Amongst his favourite topics are the characters from The Simpsons, as well as other fantastic characters from television and the collective imaginary.

This will be his first solo show. Additionally, he has participated in numerous group shows in Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica and Guatemala.
